The Story Behind the Art

“I painted these forget-me-nots on a cloudy and rainy afternoon. While looking out the window as the rain fell softly outside, it felt like the right moment to sit with memories. Their tiny blooms, in pink and blue, symbolize both boys and girls—precious lives deeply loved and never forgotten. For centuries, forget-me-nots have carried the meaning of remembrance, but for me, they also carry the promise of Christ: that He holds every tear, and that one day He will wipe them all away. This piece is a quiet offering of hope, pointing to the beauty that lingers even in sorrow and to the Savior who makes all things new.”
