What’s inside a New Mercy Moms Care Box?

Each box includes books on grief and child loss, a small journal and pen, watercolor Scripture verse cards with a wooden stand, a 24K gold-plated teardrop necklace, a stuffed lamb, a scented candle with matches, and a personalized handwritten card.

Who receives the Care Boxes?

Care Boxes are sent to mothers grieving the death of a child. Each box is requested directly by a bereaved mom so it reaches someone who needs it most.

Can I sponsor more than one Care Box?

Yes. Many donors give $200 to send 2 boxes or $300 for 3 boxes. You can also become a monthly Legacy of Hope partner to send Care Boxes all year long.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes. New Mercy Moms is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your records.

How do you make sure donations are used wisely?

We practice radical transparency. In the first 6 months of 2025, donors helped send over 240 Care Boxes and 135,000 people accessed our free online resources. Our giving breakdown: 40% Care Boxes, 35% Online Resources & Equipping, 15% Ministry Operations, 10% Emergency Response Fund.

Can I give a Care Box in memory of a child?

Yes. Many supporters donate in memory of a child. Include the child’s name with your gift and we will honor them as we prepare and pray over the Care Box.
